About Us

It is our purpose to provide an atmosphere filled with love and educational opportunities, while reaffirming Biblical characteristics such as integrity, empathy, and compassion. Through the use of His Word and the examples of christian caregivers we will strive to instill God’s love using guidance and positivity. We exist to serve the community by loving and leading the next generation to Christ through learning and play.

We believe learning begins in the family, continues in early childcare and educational settings, and depends on parent involvement and positive caregiver guidance. Here at Building Bridges ELC, we strive to encourage children to develop knowledge of their world through positive interactions with caregivers and peers while using hands-on learning and events with Biblical principles as our cornerstone.

Curriculum

It is important to us that we continually provide all of the children in our care with engaging and enriching learning experiences. Birth through 2k has no set curriculum, with focus being on developmental milestones and verbal/social skill development.

In our 3k classes, we use Hand2Mind literacy curriculum and a centers-based math curriculum with a focus on play-based learning.

In our 4k classes, we work towards Kindergarten readiness with Hand2Mind reading and math curriculums, with literacy goals including recognizing and using phonics to sound out words. For math, the focus is on number sense, using patterns, and understanding the concepts of more and less, in order to establish a mathematical foundation for addition and subtraction.
